Health and Wellness Week

Health and Wellness Week has been loads of fun at Elite TOMA Martial Arts! Friends and family members have joined us on the mat for some stretching, muscle building, self-defense, and even weapons training! We’ve a great week of activities and learning for all. Students definitely got a kick out of watching mom and dad (and even grandma and grandpa) try out a few new moves, while family members seem to have gotten a few sore muscles along the way. Everyone say, “Feels so good!”

A common theme throughout the week was discipline. As Master Jo quotes, “Discipline is the bridge between goals and achievement.” Discipline is what gets us up and moving when we’d rather sleep in or binge another episode on Netflix. It takes work and commitment to reach goals. Reaching a goal is not a one-time decision, but a daily, weekly, monthly, even yearly focus on where we want to be.
